Your questions answered

We're here to help

It may be your first time seeing a specialist. These are the questions we're asked most — and you can always call us on +44 (0)203 973 8800.

What should I expect during my first urology consultation?

Your consultant will review your medical history and discuss your symptoms. A physical examination and initial diagnostics, such as an ultrasound or urine test, may be performed during the same visit to ensure a rapid diagnosis.

What is REZUM treatment for an enlarged prostate?

REZUM is a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment that uses natural water vapour (steam) to shrink the prostate. It is a quick procedure that preserves sexual function and has a significantly shorter recovery time than traditional surgery.

Can I get a same-day appointment for urological concerns?

Yes. We prioritize urgent concerns such as blood in the urine (haematuria) or severe kidney stone pain, often offering same-day diagnostic testing and specialist consultation.
