Your questions answered

We're here to help

It may be your first time seeing a specialist. These are the questions we're asked most — and you can always call us on +44 (0)203 973 8800.

What is PRP therapy and is it effective for joint pain?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses a concentration of your own blood platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. It is a highly effective, non-surgical option for many patients with chronic joint pain or sports injuries.

How long is the recovery time for day-case orthopaedic surgery?

Recovery varies by procedure, but many of our patients are able to walk and return home on the same day. Most minor surgeries, like carpal tunnel release, allow for a return to light activities within a few days.

Will I need physiotherapy after my treatment?

In many cases, yes. We offer in-house physiotherapy to ensure a coordinated and rapid recovery, tailoring the rehabilitation program specifically to your procedure and lifestyle goals.
