Mr. Mo Akmal MD is one of London’s leading orthopaedic spinal surgeons and the Medical Director of The Harley Street Hospital. A pioneer of day-case spinal surgery, he graduated from Imperial College, London, and completed his spinal fellowship training at Oxford. Mr Akmal is internationally renowned for his experience in managing spinal trauma, and leads The London Spine Unit at Harley Street — one of the world’s leading specialist spine units, which treats upwards of 5,000 patients a year from around the globe.
