Dr Kosta Chouliaras is a highly experienced and highly reviewed NHS and private Consultant Cardiologist in London, with more than 15 years of experience at consultant level. He has a special interest in cardiac imaging (echocardiography), heart failure, hypertension and valve problems, and is accredited in both the UK and the USA.
He was awarded his CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Cardiology by the General Medical Council in 2008, and accepted as a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), having been awarded the 2nd European Prize for his research. He gained advanced experience under leading professors in cardiology at Hammersmith, King’s College and Northwick Park Hospitals in London and at New York University Hospital in the USA.
Dr Kosta was the first consultant in West London to set up and run a Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic using an exercise-bike (e-bike) stress echo test — a non-invasive, painless way to detect coronary artery disease. He is Medical Director and founder of London Cardiology Clinics and 1 STOP Cardiac Clinics, practising across Harley Street, Ealing and Richmond.
