Assessment

In-depth medical history, comprehensive examination and scans if necessary.
Patients will be offered a comprehensive, diagnostic evaluation performed by one of our GMC certified and fully trained doctors. It includes a thorough medical history, physical exam, ultrasound or a very low radiation CT Scan if applicable.
We use state of the art advanced EOS scanners which have many benefits over traditional x ray scanners

Plasma and Platelet Rich Cell Collection

PRP and collected from your body.

Platelets are specialised blood cells with several roles to play in the human body. One of them is to promote blood clotting so that a person does not excessively bleed when they are cut. Another role is to contain proteins in the blood that help wounds to heal. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a substance that is shown to promote healing when injected into areas if injury or degeneration. Plasma is a component of your blood that contains special factors or proteins, that help your blood to clot. It also contains proteins that support cell growth.

Harvest & Optimise

PRP and growth factor cells are harvested, concentrated and optimised.

After a blood sample has been obtained obtained, the blood is put into a centrifuge, which allows the blood to separate into its many components. Platelet-rich plasma can then be collected and treated before it is delivered to an injured area of bone or soft tissue, such as a tendon or ligament.

Implant & Therapy

PRP and optimised cells implanted into injured area.

Once your optimised blood has been processed using our proprietary protocols to create a concentrated PRP, it is delivered to the injured area of bone or soft tissue, such as a tendon or ligament.

Follow Up

Post procedure follow up at our clinic:

After the injection, a patient must avoid exercise for a short period of time before beginning a rehabilitation exercise program if deemed necessary by our doctors.
